The Australian Organic Food Chain (OFC) promotes organic production.
OFC certification criteria:
- The product does not contain genetically modified organisms (GMO-free).
- The product does not contain synthetic additives.
- Chemical insecticides, herbicides or fungicides cannot be used in production.
- The product must not be treated with ionizing radiation.
- Production must not interfere with the natural metabolism of livestock and plants.
- Nanotechnology must not be used in the manufacture of the product.
