Africafe

Africafe – authentic Tanzanian coffee with Fair Trade principles. The Africafe coffee is made from Arabica and Robusta, the best beans in the Tanzanian highlands, on the shores of Lake Victoria. The coffee comes from a roastery bought by Tampereen kehitysmaakauppa, and it has a pleasant medium roast flavor. The roastery operates as a family business, and it is owned by several small coffee farmers from the vicinity of Lake Victoria. The aim of the roastery is to double the processing while securing a livelihood for the small farmers in the area.
