The production is based on delicacy porcini, chantarelles, trumpet mushrooms and  funnel chantarelles picked from the forest. Kaavi Porcini's mushrooms grow in the wilderness of northern Savo and North Karelia, amid glacial ridges and pure nature, accompanied by bears and wolves. The mushrooms are dried in a modern factory. It's pretty amazing how Kaavi Porcini mushrooms bring authentic freshness to your kitchen. The secret is that the mushrooms are dried on the day of picking. Freshness and quality are important and the mushroom's journey is monitored from the forest to the dehydrator and from there on to airtight glass jars. At Kaavi Porcini everything is based on quality.
